CSM representatives contacted artist Maggie LaNoue about creating holiday cards of the Milwaukee Road Depot, a project in Minneapolis Minnesota to restore an old depot into a mall with hotels, restaurants and more. Learn about CSM.

Maggie added a new sky - took out most of the color for an antique effect (the actual cards were printed with more of a sepia tone) - added antique lamp posts with holiday swags, added greens to the roofline. She also added snow in the sky, on the ground, and mist all around. She worked on the type to make it more readable.

This is a photo of the actual message inside the actual cards. We often use Strathmore Pastelle stock with a deckle edge. This stock is acid free and gives a very impressive look to the card, and these cards often get kept at the end of the season.

This project was so special that CSM wanted to give a little history of the project in an unobtrusive place, on the back of the card.
